Meet Tony & Katie
Tony and Katie Nhenga (seen here with their newborn daughter Bella) have been followers of Jesus Christ from a young age. Both were raised in Christian homes and serving at their respective churches.
Each of them individually and together have lead ministries, helped start and grow churches and served on extensive mission trips in third-world countries.
Starting Gateway Vineyard Church they believe is the latest calling God has placed on them. They look forward to helping develop a healthy church community and family which not only grows closer to God but grows closer together.
They believe this community will be rooted in the northside of Elkhart, Indiana.
As followers of Christ, we believe we are to serve like Christ served others. Since we are a new start-up church, we will continually need volunteers to help accommodate the rapid growth of our new church.
If you would like to take your next step in faith and start serving in one of our ministries, let us know by clicking the button below.
"God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them." -Hebrews 6:10 NIV
Be The Church
Community is an important part of your spiritual growth in following Jesus. The word 'church' is derived from the Greek word Ekklisía which means a body of a faithful people. So, essentially we cannot be a church without you.
This is why we believe if you are a part of our church, you should get connected with us by participating in our upcoming community events.
Through these events we can grow closer to God and to each other. We hope to experience life with you as we continue to build and grow this community.
